Letters to sixteen #1

Hello lovelies, and thanks for checking out the first post in my new series 'Letters to sixteen!' Todays letter is brought to you by the lovely Sophiia from {Beauty By Sophiia}

Dear Hannah,

Ditch the nickname please! Squidge is NOT a very attractive name, and you shouldn't let people make you out to be who you aren't.

You may not like your name now, but give it a couple of years and you'll change it - Sophiia is much prettier, and you'll like it way more. Its a nightmare having to correct everyone when they spell it wrong, but don't let it get you down too much (its your fault for spelling it so oddly in the first place!). Also don't get annoyed when people call you Sophie - its wasted effort.

College isn't the end of the world. You won't get fantastic grades unless you study harder, I know its hard with what's going on at home at the moment. But try not to let her get to you, she won't be around for much longer (Dad is getting sick of her). I know life feels hard right now, but it'll get way tougher so just try and take it in your stride. You'll get a decent job, so try not to worry.

Stop hanging around with those so-called "friends". They're not really looking out for you, you can do way better. Please don't get all those awful piercings! You'll regret the scars you're left with when you're my age, and I'm only 22.

You will get somewhere in life. It won't be where you thought you'd be headed, but in a few years you'll meet the man of your dreams and give birth to an absolutely beautiful little boy. Its worth the wait - but PLEASE take a pregnancy test when you're 20! It was a bit of a shock, but our little man was born with very little warning.

Most of all, don't ever feel like you're worthless. You're going to do something utterly stupid when you're 19, but literally a week later you'll meet Liam, and he'll make life worth living again. Trust me, you'll be glad you had this information.
